What to expect
Travelers often point to both advantages and challenges when using parking services, highlighting aspects such as the convenience of valet parking or cell phone lots, but also difficulties with signage and design.
Cell Phone Lots
Location
The North Cell Phone Lot is located at the north end of the airport, directly before the North Toll Plaza.
The South Cell Phone Lot is located at the south end of the airport, adjacent to the intersection of Rental Car Drive and Southgate Avenue.
- The sectors are free of charge, with no additional cost for waiting.
- Quick pick-up of customers upon arrival.
- Parking is limited to two hours in both lots.
- Vehicles waiting in the Cell Phone Lot parking lots must be attended by a driver at all times. They may not be left unattended or parked overnight.
What Users Say
The Cell Phone Lot is a beloved resource for DFW visitors, but users say there are areas for improvement in the overall experience, especially in terms of signage and additional amenities. Opinions on convenience vary. The lots generally offer plenty of parking, but can fill up quickly during peak hours. Users appreciate the ability to wait without time pressure, but some say more amenities, such as restrooms or charging stations, would be helpful.
Some also mention that real-time updates on flight status in the Cell Phone Lot area would be beneficial, to help drivers better coordinate their time. Overall, it's a practical solution for those waiting for passengers, as long as there are no issues with lack of information or space during peak times.

What Users Say
One of the most appreciated features is the parking guidance system in the garages of terminals A, D and E. This system uses green and red lights to indicate free and occupied spaces, making it easier to find a spot without having to go through the entire garage. Travelers mention that this feature helps reduce search time, especially during peak hours.
In addition, availability information on each level makes the parking process more efficient. Users consider the parking next to the terminals to be ideal for those who need quick and convenient access, particularly useful for dropping off or picking up passengers. For those traveling in a hurry or with very early flights, this proximity is a great advantage. However, some visitors have commented that the traffic flow to and from the parking lots can be complicated, and they recommend using GPS in advance to avoid setbacks.
Other criticisms include the costs of parking, which some consider excessively high. Also, on rainy days or with poor visibility, the signs can be difficult to read. The infrastructure, while modern in many ways, could benefit from better lighting and clearer signage for those unfamiliar with the airport.
Express Parking
Location
It is located near the north entrances and exits of the airport. There are covered and uncovered spaces.

What users say
One of the most highly rated options is valet parking, which is especially appreciated for its convenience. Users highlight that, although it is more expensive, it is worth it for the time saved by dropping off and picking up the vehicle quickly. Some frequent travelers say that valet parking is an investment that makes the travel experience much easier, especially when it comes to early flights or after returning from a long trip.
Accessible Parking
Handicapped-permit parking is available on levels 1 and 3 for direct access to the terminals. In the garages, handicapped spaces are located on both the upper Arrivals level and the lower Departures floor. One-hour areas may be used for long-term parking as long as the vehicle displays a handicapped parking tag or plate. Due to TSA and height restrictions, garages in some terminals are not van-accessible.
The Express and Remote lots have wheelchair-accessible shuttle buses. Wheelchair service is offered through your airline upon request (in advance).
Connection between parking lots
Through Terminal Link and Skylink, which are free to use, it is possible to reach the parking areas from each of the five terminals.
DFW Airport operates fixed route bus service to each of the above parking areas. Buses serving the Remote North and Remote South areas are fully accessible. Not all buses serving the other areas are accessible, but DFW operates a 24-hour on-demand accessible van service. Wheelchair accessible vans can be used to travel between any public parking area and terminal buildings or to travel from one terminal to another. There is no charge for the use of this service.
