According to 2022 passenger traffic statistics, Dallas - Fort Worth International Airport (IATA: DFW) was the second busiest airport in the United States, behind only Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. It operates several domestic, international and intercontinental flights. It is the largest hub for American Airlines, which is headquartered near the airport. By surpassing 200 destinations, DFW joined a small group of airports worldwide with that distinction.
During 2022, 73.4 million passengers transited through it. It is located in the state of Texas, 29 km (18 miles) northwest of Dallas and 39 km (24 miles) northeast of Fort Worth. (SEE MAP)

Terminals
The airport is open 24 hours a day and has five semicircular opposing terminals (A, B, C, D, E), with the International Parkway and other road systems in between. Inside each semicircle of terminals is a parking lot. Terminals C and D also have hotels. Hyatt Regency is located near Terminal C. Hyatt Place is within Southgate Plaza, near the Rental Car Facility. In addition, Minute Suites are located in Terminals A and D (gates A39 and D23), and comprise ten spacious private suites with showers.

Trains
There are three public transportation options to which you can connect directly from the terminals. DART serves primarily Dallas and TEXRail serves Fort Worth, while TRE connects these two major cities. LEARN MORE

Licensed cab stands are located on the lower level of all five terminals. The trip to Dallas can take 25 minutes, while to Fort Worth 30 minutes. The estimated fare to downtown Dallas is USD40.00-55.00 and to downtown Fort Worth USD55.00-70.00.
